Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In marshes, and In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very hardy.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
