Cliffvine

This large shrub grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 145 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several narrow, slanted stems covered in waxy, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches trail down to the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of tiny, stiff, pointed, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are solid aquamarine or gold, with violet dots, strong and covered in fine hairs.

In mid-spring it produces thousands of giant, copper blossoms with 3 teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a fairly strong scent that smells like glue.

In mid-autumn circular fruits ripen. The soft violet skin is stretchy and sour, and the slightly crunchy magenta flesh is sour and syrupy. The cream seeds are small and are bunched at the bottom of the fruit.
