Copper

This massive caudiciform grows up to 108 feet (32.9 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is copper, and is covered in sharp spines. The very thick, crimson trunk can grow to as much as 108 feet (32.9 meters) in diameter. Its emerald branches trail down towards the ground.

The jagged-edged, slender, pointed leaves are generally red. They are resilient, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with solid aquamarine petals and a light brown central disk, grow at the top, reappearing after 3 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 12 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight heart. It has an overpowering scent that smells like new carpet.

The caudiciform's skin is tough, the bright purple flesh is smooth, and the dull green sap is thin.
