Emerald

This slate moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In moorlands.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly frail; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
