Whiteleaf Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 133 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a wide, twisting trunk covered in rough, light brown bark, and inside, the very hard wood is light brown.

The numerous branches are very long and thin and are covered with large amounts of crispy, huge, thick leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid white with yellow patches.

In early spring, it produces many clusters of small, orange blossoms with broad, flat petals. They are sturdy and have no scent.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, red, shelled seeds.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
