Bronzeleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This giant leaf succulent grows up to 177 feet (53.9 meters) tall. The perforated stem is gray, and is covered in large amounts of rigid bronze spines. The knobbly leaves are peach and light grey. Handfuls of them grow on thin, emerald branches that are tall, rigid and upright. The leaves are delicate, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 45 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are generally silver; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a heart with 6 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like blood.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the bronze flesh is rubbery, and the ashy purple sap is thin.

The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
