Twining Wisteria
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This huge flower grows up to 8.8 feet (2.7 meters) tall. Its burgundy stems grow in bunches of 3 and are very thin and straight, and the huge, gray-green leaves are asymmetrical with jagged edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 125 cm (49.2 inches) wide, with cream petals and an aquamarine central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 45 petals. They detach easily.
It has an intensely strong scent that smells like leather, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
