Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small fruit tree grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 30 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 65 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a slender, angular trunk covered in knobbly, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the soft wood is light brown.

The sparse patches of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with large amounts of huge, very narrow and elongated leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are olive and magenta.

In early spring, it produces several small, violet blossoms with needle-like petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a delicate scent that smells like honeysuckle.

In early autumn it produces , oval fruit. The fuzzy dark green skin is delicate and inedible, and the very soft dark brown flesh is sweet and sticky. The lime seeds are tiny and are bunched at the bottom of the fruit.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
