Crimsonberry
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This big shrub grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 134 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has several knobbly, wonky stems covered in smooth, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is yellow.
The branches are tall, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of miniature, wispy, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are blood red on the edges and red at the center, strong and soft.
It produces a handful of tiny, subtle yellow flowers with circular shaped petals. They detach easily and have a strong scent that smells like fruity. In late autumn it forms tinycyan berries.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
