Emerald

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On rotten logs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is very flexible.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
