Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In damp forests, and On trees.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly rigid.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
