Bloodgrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in sparse patches that are flimsy and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blood red tuft.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.
