Bloodvine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 19 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has many stocky, straight stems covered in knobbly, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is dark brown.

The branches trail down across the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of giant, thick, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are beige and blue, flimsy and smooth.

In late spring it produces dozens of large, blood red flowers with 2 umbrella-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a mildly strong scent that smells like vanilla.


It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
