Violetgrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This colossal, emerald grass grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, vivid purple tuft.

During the early summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
