Emerald Capsule Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On rotten logs.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is slightly robust.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release thousands of spores.
