Silver

This short caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The pleated stem is silver, and is covered in lots of fine, hazel, hair-like spines. The thick, green trunk can grow to as much as 2 feet (61.0 cm) in diameter. Its brown branches are short and thick.

The smooth-edged, perforated leaves are either intense red, or blue with gold lines. They are resilient, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are generally green; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like coconut.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the black flesh is sticky, and the gold sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.
