Drab Orange Moss

This light brown and drab orange moss is commonly found blanketing small areas On trees.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly sturdy; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
