Amberberry

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 159 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of very thick, twisting stems covered in fine, wrinkled, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is pale yellow.

The branches are very long and thin with thousands of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of tiny, thick, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are solid cyan or pink, with grey dots, robust and smooth.

It produces hundreds of medium-sized, amber flowers with needle-like petals with a tube-like floral cup. They fall easily and have a strong scent that smells like rich perfume. In early summer it forms smallhazel berries.
