Bronze

This large caudiciform grows up to 86 feet (26.2 meters) tall. The tapering stem is gray, and is covered in dozens of fine, beige, hair-like spines. The stocky, brown trunk can grow to as much as 86 feet (26.2 meters) in diameter. Its orange branches are very short and thin.

The jagged-edged, fan-like leaves are generally bronze. They are strong, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with cream petals that gradient shift to blood red on the outer edge. The central disk is magenta, grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet with 10 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like a newborn baby.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the purple flesh is sticky, and the sky blue sap is thin.
