Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This large leaf succulent grows up to 93 feet (28.3 meters) tall. The thin stem is burgundy, and is covered in large amounts of fine, beige, hair-like spines. The knobbly leaves are bronze and florescent green. Large amounts of them grow on flat, gray-green branches that are short, thin and wispy. The leaves are robust, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are purple in the center, aquamarine in the middle and black at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet made up of 10 widely spaced, narrow petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like rotting meat.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the grey flesh is leathery, and the hazel sap is thin.

Several parts of the grass have medicinal properties.
