Aquamarine

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This massive leaf succulent grows up to 158 feet (48.2 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is gray-green, and is covered in sharp spines. The bubbly leaves are aquamarine and silver. Copious amounts of them grow on flat, orange branches that are short, rigid and upright. The leaves are sturdy, but easily come away when pulled.

It is slow growing, taking 49 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid dark grey petals and a grey central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like pineapple.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the crimson flesh is waxy, and the pink sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.

It is suitable for making strong rope
