Burgundy Tree

This colossal tree grows up to 121 meters (397.0 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 270 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in hard, rough, light gray bark, and inside, the hard wood is burgundy.

The numerous branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with large amounts of smooth, large, wispy leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are lime and peach.

In late summer it forms giant, cream, shelled seeds.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
