Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 41 feet (12.5 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 5 sickle shaped stems. Each stem is olive and hazel, and is covered in lots of fine, black, hair-like spines. The wedge-shaped body is slate, and is covered in thousands of flexible bronze spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 14 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with purple petals that gradient shift to crimson on the outer edge. The central disk is lime grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 39 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like faeces.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the turquoise flesh is waxy, and the dark grey sap is thin.


It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
