Turquoisevine

This huge bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,404 feet (427.9 meters) and growing as high as 807 feet (246.0 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 3 years for the brown stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 10 inches (25 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The very thin, sticky leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are grey and turquoise, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thousands of small slate flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny berries.
