Burgundy Succulent
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This enormous cactus grows up to 119 feet (36.3 meters) tall. The very thick stem is burgundy, and is dotted with small white spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with alternating petals of olive and caramel, with a white central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is made up of 33 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. It has a weak scent that smells like lavender.
The cactus's skin is thin, the vivid red flesh is slimy, and the pink sap is thin.
The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
