Bluegrass

This average-sized, moss green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in sparse patches that are flimsy and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, vibrant blue spikelet.

During the early summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.
