Creamfruit Tree

This small fruit tree grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 35 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 59 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a wide, wonky trunk covered in waxy, dark brown bark, and inside, the flexible wood is pale yellow.

The small handful of branches are very short and thin and are covered with large amounts of giant, needle-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are generally cream.

In early spring, it produces dozens of small, beige blossoms with sickle shaped petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like new carpet.

In mid-autumn it produces , fan-like fruit. The rough yellow skin is delicate and inedible, and the soft hazel flesh is sweet and juicy. The light brown seeds are tiny and are dotted around on the skin of the fruit.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
