Lilac vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters)0.

It takes 5 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The pleated, sticky leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are lilac at the bottom and subtle orange with caramel patches at the top, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of small dark grey flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It can survive a long time without water.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
