Emberthorn Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps On rotten logs, In rainforests, and In heathlands.
It is massive, growing up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly resilient; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores.
