Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In moorlands, and In rainforests.
It is massive, growing up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is overwhelmingly resilient.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
