Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly durable; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
