Blue Emerald Moss

This blue moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainy mountain ranges, In bogs, and On trees.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very rigid.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.
