Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely durable.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
