Aquatree

This big fruit tree grows up to 28 feet (8.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 10 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 17 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, crooked trunk covered in thick, cracked, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the soft wood is gray.

The sparse patches of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with large amounts of huge, wispy leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in olive, pastel purple and green varieties.

In early spring, it produces many balls of tiny, copper blossoms with oval-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a weak scent that smells like varnish.

In early summer it produces , fan-like fruit. The hairy aquamarine skin is peel-able and sweet and spicy, and the slightly crunchy black flesh is salty and syrupy. The brown seed is tiny and sits at the top of the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with patches of undergrowth between them.
