Bluevine

This short fruit tree grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for up to 25 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 29 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a narrow, curved trunk covered in hard, waxy, dark gray bark, and inside, the very dense wood is light brown.

The excessive amount of branches are very short and slender and are covered with large amounts of large, 8 pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are amber at the bottom and black with sky blue lines at the top.

In early spring, it produces lots of small, blue blossoms with finger-like petals with a tube-like floral cup. They detach easily and have a mildly strong scent that smells like old shoes.

In mid-summer it produces , oval fruit. The fuzzy bold green skin is peel-able and inedible, and the crunchy peach flesh is sweet and sour and very juicy. The bronze seeds are large and are bunched at the bottom of the fruit.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
