Bluestem Succulent

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 69 feet (21.0 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 3 slender, pointed stems. Each stem is ashy blue, and is covered in handfuls of fine, beige, hair-like spines. The wedge-shaped body is lime, and is dotted with small dull orange spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are red on the underside and dark brown on the top grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 4 petals in raised layers. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like petrol.

The cactus's skin is thin, the bronze flesh is rough, and the magenta sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.
