Violet Petal

This enormous flower grows up to 16.6 feet (5.1 meters) tall. Its yellow stem is very thick and splits into numerous branching stems at the top, and the large, silver leaves are slender, pointed with toothed edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Each stem splits 2 to 8 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 138 cm (54.3 inches) wide, with petals that are violet on the edges and pastel purple at the center. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like marzipan, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
