Emerald Flame Moss

This green or olive moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On trees, In rainy mountain ranges, and In bogs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly rigid.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
