Copper Heath Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In heathlands.
It is enormous, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is overwhelmingly frail.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.
