Moss Green Succulent

This short cactus grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 3 finger-like stems. Each stem is moss green, and is covered in handfuls of rigid cyan spines. The round body is pink-red, and is covered in brittle grey spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 21 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid green petals and a cyan central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 17 widely spaced, narrow petals. It has a soft scent that smells like candle wax.

The cactus's skin is thick, the white flesh is waxy, and the gold sap is thin.
