Azure Petal

This average-sized flower grows up to 2.0 feet (61 cm) tall. Its orange stem is thin and straight with a curved tip, and the giant, azure leaves are very thick with irregular edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

4 to 7 tiny flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 23 cm (9.1 inches) wide, with alternating petals of sky blue and silver, with an indigo central disk. The flower head is made up of 5 petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like roses, and it has an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects , but is also visited by a small species of bird.
