Azurevine

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 35 feet (10.7 meters) tall. The thin stem is green, and is covered in many flexible white spines. The smooth-edged, perforated leaves are either silver or sky blue, with azure streaks. Large amounts of them grow from the base in a loosely patterned way. The leaves are resistant, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is steady-growing, taking 16 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid aquamarine petals decorated with sky blue lines and a orange central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 43 widely spaced, narrow petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like sugar.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the slate flesh is waxy, and the silver sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.

It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
