Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On rotten logs, In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly durable.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores.
