Copper Moss

This muted green and copper moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In damp forests, and In bogs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is slightly resilient.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores.
