Emerald Flame Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In damp forests, and On trees.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely hardy.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
