Emerald Clump Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges, In bogs, and In damp forests.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is very robust; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
