Bloodvine

This blood red moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps On rotten logs, In rainy mountain ranges, and In bogs.
It is giant, growing up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
