Bronze

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 33 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of slender, wonky stems covered in rough, brown bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with dozens of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of miniature, very thin, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are solid bronze with pink dots, light and fuzzy.

In late spring it produces thick bunches of small, caramel flowers with needle-like petals. They detach easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like skunk spray.
