Indigo Cactus

This short cactus grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 2 asymmetrical stems. Each stem is orange, and is covered in hundreds of flexible indigo spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 15 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with peach petals that gradient shift to grey on the outer edge. The central disk is amber grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with several raised narrow petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like misty mornings.

The cactus's skin is tough, the dark yellow flesh is slimy, and the turquoise sap is thin.
