Caramel Petal

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its brown stem is very thin, and the small, emerald leaves are light cyan on the underside and are asymmetrical with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

Each stem splits 5 to 11 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with light brown petals on the lower layer and brown petals decorated with caramel dots on the inner layer. The central disk is olive. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. They fall easily.

It has a strong scent that smells like lavender, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.


It is suitable for making paper
The leaves have medicinal properties.
